Q. What does the Retail Merchandise range consist of?
A. At this point in time, the Retail Merchandise range consists predominantly of clothing, accessories, and aquatic merchandise. Over time the range will be broadened to include childrens' clothing and accessories as well as merchandise more closely related to other YMCA activities such as camping, gymnastics and child-care.
Q. The prices on the website are wholesale prices, what prices should my site be selling these items to members for?
A. For a list of Recommended Retail Prices, please download the following file RRP.pdf, or as a general rule, mark-ups of 100% are considered standard.

Q. Can I return / exchange items which are incorrectly sized?
A. What we ask is that you first try to find someone else at your centre that can use the product which doesn't fit. If there is no one else that will fit the item, then yes, we will exchange the item. Simply fill out the Returns Authorisation Form (right mouse click and save to hard drive), email to estore@ymca.org.au and an RA number will be issued to you. Once the RA number has been issued, please print the RA number and return in the box / post pack with the items to be exchanged. Only garments which have not been worn will be accepted for exchanges. Sites are advised that the cost of returning the garments will be at their own expense.
Q. What about when I have faulty products?
A. When you receive faulty products from YMCA E-STORE, please fill out the Returns Authorisation Form (right mouse click and save to hard drive) and email to estore@ymca.org.au. An RA number will be issued to you, then please print the RA number and return in the box / post pack with the items to be exchanged. Your replacement products will be sent to you when a new order is placed for the centre. Sites are advised that the cost of returning the garments will be at their own expense.
Q. Can I see a sample range before ordering?
A. To order a sample range, simply place an order for all items required (it is recommended to order S and L sizes as it is possible to estimate the other sizes based on them being smaller / larger than these two sizes). This will be treated as a normal order and items will be sent at the same time as all other orders, your site will be invoiced accordingly.
Q. Why have certain stock items run out, will there be backorders in future?
A. Working out what the correct level of stock to hold is one of the teething problems inherent in introducing new stock items (particularly garments of different sizes). Our suppliers are committed to holding a suitable level of stock for the YMCA. The first order for stock included an additional 30% of stock over and above YMCA forecasts however actual orders were much larger than estimated for certain items. All stock run outs have been re-ordered and items placed on backorder for sites. Over the coming months we will be able to get a more accurate picture of the spending / demand patterns and the aim is to always have a sufficient float of stock in store, meaning that over time our intention is to eliminate the need to have backorders. This will become easier as we continue to gather data from orders placed.
Q. What if I need an item urgently?
A. Express Postage and Handling can be organised if required. This will allow for your items to be delivered within a week from delivery date (subject to your location). The following surcharges will apply to cover the extra cost of express freight and handling:
- $30 (for orders <$250 in value)
- please call for a quote on orders >$250 in value

Q. I am a shareholder, so when will I receive my rebate cheque?
A. Shareholder rebates are paid quarterly.
Q. Who are the YMCA E-Store Pty Ltd board members?

Q. Are YMCA products only available to shareholders in YMCA E-Store Pty Ltd?
A. No, all YMCA’s are welcome to purchase our products. The additional benefit to shareholders is that they receive a rebate on all purchases made, for example a 5% rebate is available to shareholders on all uniform purchases.
